Whitehaven Beach Latest
First things first, I will review the Whitehaven Beach Update 2020 Monthly, with all the latest updates.
At last we now have flights coming to the Whitsundays from Brisbane. Lets hope Covid free states are soon to follow!
Whitehaven Beach is a pristine, award-winning beach on Whitsunday Island. The island is the largest of the 74 islands in the Whitsundays.
The beach stretches over seven kilometers, boasting brilliant white silica sand that is among the purest in the world.
Post Covid-19, we want you to sink your feet into the sand and wade into the warm waves that gently lap the shore. You’ll soon realize why people use to come here from all over the world.
Whitehaven Xpress looks forward to many more Queenslanders and hopefully Australians joining us when their states re-open. For example, we love a bit of witty banter at the BBQ! Most importantly though, grab a beer from the esky and enjoy the beach.
Hill Inlet is located at the Northern end of Whitehaven Beach.
The view is of this stunning inlet where the tide shifts the sand and water to create a beautiful fusion of colors.
Understandably, visitors claim Hill Inlet and Whitehaven Beach are the most beautiful places they’ve seen in Australia.
The lookout at Tongue Point is the best place to personally view the swirling sands of Hill Inlet.
Likewise, Hill Inlet & Whitehaven Beach can both be experienced by several options. Day trips on larger ferries, yachts, powerboats, inflatable rafts departing from Airlie Beach and Hamilton Island.
A variety of sailing companies also offer multi-day charters that include a memorable visit to Hill Inlet. For a five star experience check out SelfCateringDadstheCaptain.
Aussie Beach BBQ Update
Most importantly, the famous Whitehaven Beach BBQ is cooked and served right on Whitehaven Beach, not on the boat!
Like all restaurants in the Whitsundays, the Whitehaven Beach BBQ has been unable to operate!
The Beach BBQ is operating 2-4 days per week.
Our menu consists of prime Australian Rumps, Sausages, Chilli Burgers, Sauteed Onions, Aussie Chefs Salad, Rice Salad, and a Tropical Fruit Platter. Locally grown rockmelon, watermelons, pineapples, tomatoes whilst Capt Dan catches the fish for any fish eaters! Homemade Vege Burgers or locally line-caught fish can be ordered prior to the day of the tour.
